Two MCDOA Captains Meet in Libya

28 Sep 2022 - Two MCDOA members met today in a rather unusual location. Captain Simon Kelly RN, Commanding Officer of HMS ALBION, took his ship for a brilliant day of Defence Engagement in Tripoli, Libya, where fellow Mine Warfare & Clearance Diving officer Captain Chris O’Flaherty RN is the Defence Attaché. HMS ALBION is now front-and-centre of all Libyan social and official media - tangible Royal Navy (and MCD) impact.
