Tim Davey leads celebration of HMS COLLINGWOOD’s 85th birthday

11 Jan 2024 - Happy 85th birthday to HMS COLLINGWOOD which has conducted RN mine warfare training since the decommissioning of HMS DRYAD in 2004 and administers the Defence Diving School on Horsea Island.

Tim Davey, the Captain of HMS COLLINGWOOD since October 2022, qualified as an MCDO in 2000. Among his other appointments, he had previously served as Operations Officer of HMS RAMSEY, both CO and XO of HMS BLYTH, Commander 1st MCM Squadron, Commander UK MCM Force in the Gulf and Captain of the Maritime Warfare Centre.
