MCDOA members meet on the Isle of Wight

17 Aug 2024 - Your humble MCDOA Vice Chairman & Webmaster Rob Hoole and my wife Linda have just returned from a week of house, cat and chicken-sitting for our younger daughter and her family on the Isle of Wight. Last Monday, we rendezvoused with MCDOA past-Chairman David Hilton MBE and his wife Marion, and MCDOA past-committee member Martyn Holloway and his wife Ann. David and Marion are IOW residents and they booked us in for lunch at the very pleasant Chequers Inn at Rookley near Ventnor where we sat outdoors bathed in glorious sunshine.
