MCDO promotions to Captain

9 May 2023 - I was delighted to hear from MCDOA Committee member Bob Hawkins MBE that MCDO Cdr Matt Moore, the current ‘Cdr X’ (career manager for all Warfare Cdrs) has been extracted from the pool and is to be promoted to Captain (NATO OF-5) and to be Head of RN Career Management (HD CM - DACOS CM in old money).

Furthermore, MCDOA member Neil Marriott has recently been promoted to Captain and is off for language training prior to becoming a Defence Attaché.
