11 Mar 2025 - MCDOA members Yours Truly (Rob Hoole) and Chris Tarmey enjoyed lunch today with former WO(MW) Lee ‘Barney Two Ts’ Barnett BEM at The George Inn atop Portsdown Hill in Widley.

Barney (left) and Rob (centre) served together in the Mine Warfare Training Section at HMS VERNON in 1979 immediately before Rob relieved Chris (right) as Boss 2 of the Plymouth Clearance Diving Team in 1980. As you can imagine, the lamp was swinging wildly!
