First MWA Southern Area Monthly Dit Session of the year

26 Jan 2024 - Joint MCDOA/MWA members Martyn Holloway, Rob Hoole, Bill Kerr, Martin Mackey and David Sandiford attended the first MWA (Mine Warfare Association) Southern Area Monthly Dit Session of the year at the Ship Anson in Portsmouth last night. The event, which was as convivial as ever, was also attended by Paul ‘Joe’ Lyons, Peter ‘Taff’ Reader, Dave Smith, Stephen ‘Bunny’ Warren and Peter Whitehead.

Before leaving, some of us enjoyed a bit of banter with a group of naval communicators who had been attending a function in the nearby Royal Maritime Club.
