Discount for Project Vernon merchandise

16 Mar 2023 - Tomorrow is the third anniversary of the unveiling of the Vernon Mine Warfare & Diving Monument at Gunwharf Quays, formerly HMS VERNON, the Royal Navy’s alma mater of mine warfare & diving in Portsmouth. The monument is a tribute to the heritage of HMS VERNON and all personnel - past, present and future - involved in or supporting naval mine warfare and service diving and EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal otherwise known as bomb & mine disposal).

MCDOA member Paul Guiver BEM, founder of Divers’ Gifts & Collectables, has advised me that Project Vernon merchandise is currently available for sale with a 30% discount. This offer, originally intended for Cyber Week only, has been extended until the end of March 2023 using the discount code CYBERWEEK 30 at checkout.

Project Vernon merchandise can be seen and ordered here:

Project Vernon merchandise at Divers’ Gifts & Collectables

Project Vernon, initiated and sponsored by the MCDOA, is behind the successful campaign to install the Vernon Mine Warfare & Diving Monument at Gunwharf Quays. Divers’ Gifts now handles all sales but makes a substantial contribution to the Project Vernon charity, to cover through-life costs, for each item purchased. I particularly recommend the polo shirts although there is a wide range of items for sale including pewter miniatures of the monument itself.
