Arrangements for the Funeral of Lt Cdr David Alan (Dan) Nicholson RN

17 Jan 2025 - Dan’s son Andrew has sent me this announcement regarding the arrangements for the funeral of his father who crossed the bar on 10 January at the age of 81 (See my article for 11 Jan 2025):

“Dear Friends and Family,

Dad/GranDan/Dan/David's funeral service will take place at The Longbarrow Hall, Harbour View Crematorium, Lytchett Minster, BH16 6AN on Thursday 5th February at 2.30pm (arrivals 2pm onwards - hot drinks served in the Purbeck Tea Room).

Dress: not funereal - blue and green for the sea.

The service will be followed by refreshments in the Purbeck Tea Room. It would be helpful for catering purposes if you could let us know by 28th Jan if you are planning to attend.
